The Infamous Masterson’s , located in the heart of Moonee Ponds , brands itself as a fashionable, contemporary hangout, but my unfortunate encounter at this establishment resulted in an experience I’d rather forget . While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I found behind its threshold was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .
The Condition of the Premises : Filthy and Abandoned
From the moment I entered , it was apparent that sanitation was not a priority at this bar . The surfaces were tacky , and a overpowering stench of stale beer and neglected washrooms polluted the entire bar . Reeking of a mixture of ammonia , a rotting odor and a sickly smell.
